District IV Dinner

The Pennsylvania Association of Nurse Anesthetists invites members of District IV to an evening of local networking and education.  3 CE credits will be provided, in addition to a full dinner (choice of 4 entrees) and beverages.

This program has been prior approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 3.00 Class A CE credits; Code Number 1034317; Expiration Date 3/2/2017.

- Define Non-accidental injury

Review statistics & common non-accidental injuries

- Identify at-risk population

- Discuss injury assessment & differential diagnoses

- Review legal implications related to reporting non-accidental injuries


“Perioperative Drug-Drug Interaction”

Learners will be able to:

- Distinguish basic principles of pharmacology

- Identify the basic patterns of drug interactions

- Recognize specific drug-drug interactions


“PANA State Update”

Aaron Ostrowski, CRNA, MSN, DNP, PANA President

Learners will be able to:

- Discuss current nurse anesthesia legislative initiatives and strategies, as well as issues affecting practice in the state of PA.

-Discuss initiatives and resources being provided by PANA to supports the state member’s practice.


District 4 is comprised of the following counties: Lawrence, Butler, Armstrong, Indiana, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Beaver, Allegheny, Westmoreland, Somerset, Bedford, Fulton, Washington, Greene, and Fayette.
